Where can I buy the book?
The book is widely available in all bookstores (retail and online), as well as various retailers.  Click here for a list or to buy it online.

Are you a travel agency?
NO. We are not a travel agency. Please don’t contact us to make bookings. We do however provide links to tour operators and companies under each Experience who will be more than glad to answer your questions.

Why am I not seeing all the experiences on the website?
If you don’t register, you can still see dozens of experiences online. If you register, it unlocks many more. If you buy the book, you’ll see a code under “How to use this book” in the front. Add this code and it will unlock all the items on the Bucket List.

How do I input the book code if I’ve registered before?
1. If you’ve registered previously, you’ll notice your login name at the top right hand corner. It will say “Howdy [name]”
2. Put your mouse over your name, and a menu will pop up with your name, Edit My Profile, and Logout
3. Click “Edit My Profile”
4. At the bottom of the page, just before the Submit button, is a field that says Book Code.
5. Enter the code (found in the front of the book), hit submit, and voila!

Why is my favourite experience not here?
A nation’s Bucket List is an organic document. It will grow, and one day, your experience might certainly be on it. Robin spent nearly travelled around the country, polling locals, travel media and experts, and drawing on his considerable global experience.  He knows that many experiences slipped through the cracks, but hopes to add them in future editions.

Is this a TV show?
Some readers may recognize Robin as co-host of the 40-part TV series Word Travels, seen on National Geographic International and Travel Channel International worldwide. While original video is integrated into some of the experiences online and Robin has a fun Youtube channel,The Great Australian Bucket List is not a TV series. Could have been great though!

How did Robin choose items on the Bucket List?
Robin has spent a dozen years visiting over 100 countries, ticking off all the new Wonders of the World, and several personal bucket lists.  When it came to creating Australia’s Bucket List, he looked for experiences that were exceptional, and experiences that were unique.  As a travel columnist and adventurer, he has a knack for spotting the exceptional, after all, it’s how he makes his living!  Then he polled other travel writers, experts, books and most importantly locals to fill in the gaps.

Will Robin be adding new experiences?
Most definitely. Robin was limited in terms of what he could cover and where he could get to.

Why are some experiences on the website not in the book?
The website was designed to compliment and enhance the book.  It includes experiences that belong in the book but didn’t make the cut due to timing, budgets and space. Perhaps in the next edition!    But since the website is its own beast, new experiences will be added all the time.

Was Robin paid to feature experiences?
All the items in The Great Australian Bucket List were selected by Robin with editorial independence, although he definitely worked with partners in order to get there.  A Bucket List is only as faithful as the people who believe in it!  Robin makes convincing arguments for each item in the book, although some readers are bound to disagree.
